Pay-Per-Click Advertising is the most common and arguably the most profitable way to make money with domain names. An example of a Pay-Per-Click advertising network is the Google Adsense network.
In PPC advertising, advertisers bid on search terms / keywords. The highest bidder will have their advertisement appear at the top of the page, or top of the search results page. The next highest bidder will get the second spot, and so on.
On the Results, page, you will see some figures related to PPC Advertising. Here's what they mean:
PPC Ads
The number of advertisers bidding for the search term that makes up your domain names. The higher the number, the more competitive the keywords, and that's good for the domain name. This is a very important figure. Look for domain names with at least more than 20 advertisers if you're planning to make money with domain parking
Max Ad Bid This is the maximum advertiser bid for that search term. It means that each time the advertisement is clicked, the advertiser pays this amount to the Advertising network. Obviously, the higher the better for domain parking and website development.
PPC Income/Day A rough estimate of the maximum PPC income you would make, if your website was on the very top of Google search results for this search term.
Disclaimer: Do not make business decisions based on these figures. The numbers are from archived data, and advertiser bids change daily.
